Full Home Automation · Nairobi, Kenya
Nairobi Residence
International Control4 installation for a high-specification Nairobi residence. Full home automation covering lighting, audio-visual distribution, climate, access control and remote managed support.

The Approach
One platform, an entire home, two countries apart.
Forest House is a high-specification residence in Muthaiga, Nairobi, brought together on a single Control4 platform — a CORE 5 primary controller backed by a network of distributed CORE controllers reaching every zone of the home. Lighting, climate, audio, video, security, access and motorised shading all answer to one interface, whether from an in-wall touchscreen, a handset or remotely from anywhere in the world.
Lutron HomeWorks governs the lighting through Palladiom keypads, a Toshiba VRF system handles climate room by room, and a Control4 AMS8v2 matrix carries audio across the property, with Binary MoIP 4K distributing video over IP to every television. Bang & Olufsen anchors the listening experience, and a dedicated cinema sits at the heart of the entertainment spaces. The whole estate runs on an Araknis managed network and is monitored over OvrC from IHO's Johannesburg studio.
