A landmark Blair Atholl home — generously scaled, architecturally considered, and built to be lived in fully. IHO is wiring every system from the ground up: multi-room audio, distributed video, smart lighting, a private cinema, garden speakers and comprehensive Uniview CCTV, all integrated under Control4.
The Approach
Every room, every system — one point of control
Blair Atholl is a suburb that doesn't compromise, and this home is no exception. The project is currently in cable stage — IHO's team on site running infrastructure while the builders are still finishing, the right sequence for a system of this complexity. Every zone is pre-wired for what it will become: multi-room audio with outdoor garden speakers, distributed 4K video to every screen, and a private cinema whose brand is still being selected to match the room's ambition.
The formal lounge is a particular focus. With a double-volume ceiling it demanded a different approach to background audio — Monitor Audio SF1 in-wall art-work speakers flush-mounted into the walls, invisible until they play, alongside a statement large-format display. On the security side, 10 Uniview 4MP ColorHunter cameras have been positioned to achieve something genuinely rare in residential CCTV: true 360° perimeter coverage with no blind spots. Every elevation, the full driveway approach and all outbuildings sit within frame — and every feed is live on any Control4 touchscreen in the house, or on the app from anywhere in the world.
